Aragorn studied Ancient and Middle-Eastern History, Islam, and International Relations across 6 years at two different universities (RUG / UU) before deciding to drop out in favor of building a career to “really make a difference.”
Looking back, it’s clear this decision was partially a result of his ADHD. Working through tomes of dry knowledge in order to memorize and analyze became close to impossible asit didn’t trigger enough of his brain’s reward mechanisms. This has strongly influenced Aragorn’s views on our educational system and its incompatibility with young, talented neurodivergents like he was.
